The acceptance of the booking outlined on the booking form, once completed, is based on agreement by the client of the terms and conditions stated herein:
Until receipt of the deposit all bookings are provisional and are not secured.
The client must pay a deposit of £100.00 to confirm the booking.
Failure to pay the deposit within 7 days will result in the booking being released.
Once the booking has been confirmed, the date will be reserved for you. Dollface Makeup Studio will attend the date and provide the service required.
The booking confirmation will set out the balance due date, by which, the trial and wedding day fees specified must be paid. Failure to pay may result in action being taken to recover money owed.
The final balance must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to the wedding day if paying by bank transfer only. If paying by cash then final balance is due on the wedding morning before the makeup artists starts. Failure to pay the balance on this these terms will result in action being taken to recover the money owed under the agreement and any costs incurred in this regard will be added onto the invoice.
Should the client have any issues with payments, they must contact Dollface Make-up studio Ltd. as soon as reasonably practicable.
Deposit payments can be made by cash, and bank transfer only.
Payment for the trial will be due on the day of the trial and can be made in cash or by card on the day of the appointment or by bank transfer to clear no later than the day preceding the appointment.
Parking fees, where incurred, will be charged in addition to the Make-up Service fee.
Due to the mobile service provided, it is necessary to travel to the location of the client. All efforts have been made to keep these costs to a minimum. The costs are set out as follows:
Travel charge 0.50p per mile return from ST7 2FE
If more than one artist is required to conduct the booking there will be an extra charge of £50.00 including the assistant’s travel costs, which will be determined at the point of recruitment by Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd. and will be confirmed to you as soon as is practicably possible.
Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd. shall provide the services with reasonable care and skill following consultation with the client regarding their specific needs.
The client shall inform Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd.of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment and or products at the time of booking. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd. shall not be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any known condition.
The client shall inform Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd.as soon as reasonably practicable but not less than 24 hours of any cancellations of consultations or appointments. Failure to provide the requisite notice will result in the relevant charges being added to your account.
Should the client wish to cancel the provisional booking before the deposit is paid no charges will be levied but the date will be released.
Any cancellations made from the time of booking and 30 days prior to the wedding date will incur the loss of any deposit paid including trial costs and mileage.
Cancellations made 4 weeks or less before the wedding date will incur cancellation charges
equivalent to 50% of the total cost of the booking.
Cancellations made 14 days or less before the wedding date will result in cancellation charges equivalent to 100% of the total cost of the booking due to loss of other business.
In the event of an accident, severe illness, inclement weather conditions and/or an act of God affecting the ability of your confirmed Makeup artist attend on your wedding day appointment, every effort will be made to supply another makeup artist Should this not be possible every effort will be made to recommend an alternative, independent hair and make-up artist. (Please note that different fees, terms and conditions may apply).
Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd. will not be held responsible for any mechanical breakdowns, or for any delays caused by circumstances beyond their control.
Should it not be possible to find a suitable alternative artist the full extent of Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd. liabilities will be to issue a full refund for any payments already made to them for the cost of the wedding day appointment, including the deposit. Trial costs will not be refunded.
Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd. reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund if at any time before or during the trial any member of your party is abusive, violent or displays any behaviour deemed to be offensive.
It is recommended that the client takes out the requisite insurance, for example wedding insurance, to assist should any problems arise.
Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd. may ask permission for any digital photographs taken at the trial or on the date of the occasion, to be added to her professional portfolio and/or added to her website to promote her work.
Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd recommends that all bookings requires a trial for the Bride to ensure the best possible service on the day.Dollface Make-up Studio Ltd cannot be held responsible or provide refunds where no trial was taken and the individual is unhappy with the service on the day.
There will be an additional £60 charge if I am required to set up and travel to 2 locations on the day. Wedding bookings are subject to the minimum charge of the accepted quoted amount. Therefore, if at a later date the numbers are reduced to less than the original quote, the quoted fee will still be applied, as per the agreement between client and the company
